The whole of the Netherlands is Amsterdam

With ‘gappies’, ‘moppies’ and loads of .amsterdam, we have put the city on the online map. But we are far from finished. That’s why we’re kicking off a brand new campaign, in which we highlight how the whole of the Netherlands is often reduced to ‘Amsterdam’. The more you think about it, the more recognisable it becomes. There are few people who haven’t at some point denied where they’re from:

We’re raising awareness of .amsterdam amongst the Amsterdam public with two new videos and related materials. This also includes a new domain name. “Geef mij maar .amsterdam” (“I’ll take .amsterdam, please”) still applies, of course, but now via registreerjouw.amsterdam (register your .amsterdam)!
